Old 149,  Erin, TN or you can contact the Houston Country Chamber of Commerce @ (931) 289-5100 for additional information.  - An 8 mile wide crater formed by a probable meteor impact is overlaid by hills and the outer rim of the structure can be seen from old Hwy 149 in Erin.



Erin Historic District

Downtown Sq.,  Erin, TN or you can contact the Houston Country Chamber of Commerce @ (931) 289-5100 for additional information.  - Erin, established in 1871, has gift and craft shops. The 3rd Saturday in March is the biggest Irish celebration this side of Chicago.



Houston County Library

Railroad Memorial Pavilion

Limekilns

Hwy. 49,  Erin, TN or you can contact the Houston Country Chamber of Commerce @ (931) 289-5100 for additional information.  - In the 1800's 6 kilns produced an annual average of 12,000 barrels of first class lime and employed the majority of the county's population. Today, 5 kilns remain.
