It's located at the corner of Forrest & Church Streets, Dover, TN 37058. Fort Donelson National Battlefield - It's the site of the first major Union victory during the Civil War. The earthen fort, river batteries, outer earthworks, Dover Hotel and National Cemetery are preserved and are accessible by a 6-mile self-guided auto tour. Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area - A 170,000 acre national recreation area located between Kentucky and Barkley lakes in western Kentucky and Tennessee. Visitor attractions include a living history farm, nature center, planetarium, wildlife viewing area and campgrounds.
