Sparta Amphitheater - The
city sponsors two free concerts each month. Seats 500 with gazebo concession
stand, may be reserved by individuals or groups. Located on: Liberty Square

Virgin Falls - formed by an underground stream that emerges from a cave, drops over a 110 foot cliff, and goes back into a cave at the bottom. Overlooks, other streams, caves and a primitive backpack camping area. You should allow 6 to 8 hrs. for the complete 8 mile hike. Burgess Falls State Natural Area
- A steam side nature trail winds through
lush woodlands descending below scenic limestone cliffs to the still waters
of Center Hill Lake. Falling Water River offers its beautiful cascades,
the remnants of historic waterworks, and the plunging Burgess Falls. Picnic
facilities are available. Located at: 4000 Burgess Falls Drive, just off
