Personal Keepsakes Treasures

The mention of the word archives often brings visions of dusty tomes and ancient objects. True, in some cases...but The Tullahoma Fine Arts Center's Archives are another story. There are many wonderful things from the 19th century that are exciting because of the stories they tell to those that will listen. Artifacts and documents are treasures to the collection of the Tullahoma Fine Arts Center/Regional Art Museum.

Hats from the J.E.A. Bailette Millinery Shop. Lovely sewn clothing items from that early business.
The grand-piano, (shown at right), paintings, cards, etc. tell stories all their own of a family giving up the luxuries of their home and lands in the Hudson River Valley area to move to Tullahoma in the 1860's.

The Art Center's Gift Shop offers numerous special items like hand-blown glass, pottery, hand-made jewelry, and painted silk.
