Fall Heritage Days at the Museum of Appalachia
Music, craft demos, and pioneer buildings on the grounds outside Clinton.
The Museum of Appalachia opens extra heritage days in late October with musicians, demonstrators, and the village of relocated cabins. It sits about half an hour north of Knoxville, on the way toward Big South Fork if you want a second day outdoors. Listed dates follow the museum's published 2026 heritage days; confirm hours.
With children
The village is walkable for school-age children. Cabins have steps and low doors.
